Singer Lizzy has resumed activities with a fan meeting in Japan after completing her period of reflection following a drunk driving incident.

He noted, "Honestly, I missed you all so much. Through the three performances, I was able to meet you closely after a long time, to look into the eyes of each one of you, to sing, dance, and share stories together, and every moment was an immense happiness that cannot be expressed in any words." He added, "I once again felt desperate realization that the place I longed for was exactly on stage and beside your warm hearts."
Lizzy, who had been in a period of reflection following her drunk driving incident, shared, "To be honest, I was haunted by the thought that I might never stand on stage again, and I spent a long time feeling disconnected from the world and blaming myself, enduring tough times."
She continued, "I realized that even in moments I thought I had hit rock bottom in life, there could be deeper places than that, and although it was a very unfortunate experience, I gained many lessons and realizations needed to live through that time." She added, "Perhaps I had thought too easily about the world and deeply learned how precious and not ordinary the hearts and love of everyone who supported and loved me were."
Finally, Lizzy expressed, "Nevertheless, I was truly overwhelmed and deeply grateful to know that there were people who waited for me unchanged during difficult times and came back to see me again." She said, "This fan meeting marked a new beginning for me, and because you were with me in that precious moment, I believe it will be remembered as the most valuable and exhilarating experience of my life."
Meanwhile, Lizzy caused an accident on the 17th near the intersection south of the Yeongdong Bridge in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul in 2021, while driving under the influence of alcohol. At that time, her blood alcohol concentration was at a level that would result in license revocation, and she was fined 15 million won.
Subsequently, Lizzy held her first solo fan meeting in Tokyo, Japan, on the 17th and 18th, marking her return after four years.
Here is the full text of Lizzy's message.
I sincerely thank everyone who attended my first solo fan meeting held in Tokyo, Japan, on the 17th and 18th, and brightened the event by taking the time to come.
To all the fans who warmly came to see me from various parts of Japan, as well as from countries like Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Canada, and Indonesia, I bow my head in deep gratitude for your kind hearts. Just the fact that so many came to see me has made me truly feel like the luckiest person.
Honestly, I missed you all so much. Through the three performances, I was able to meet you closely again after a long time, and every moment of looking into each eye, singing, dancing, and sharing stories with you brought me immense happiness that cannot be expressed in words. During the fan meeting, I was so overwhelmed and touched to see your faces closely, which I used to see only from afar on stage. I felt once again that the place I longed for was on the stage and next to your warm hearts.
To be honest, I was trapped in the thought that I might never stand on stage again and spent a long time disconnected from the world, blaming myself and going through tough times. I realized that there could be deeper places than what I considered the bottom of life, and although it was a very unfortunate experience, I gained many valuable lessons and realizations from that period. Perhaps I thought too lightly of the world, and I have deeply learned how precious and not ordinary are the hearts and love from all of you who supported and loved me.
Nevertheless, I was truly overwhelmed with emotion and deep gratitude knowing that there are those who waited for me unchanged during difficult times and came to see me again. From long-time fans who have watched me since childhood to those who returned after a long time and precious new fans who met me for the first time… you all gathered in one place and gave me the strength and courage to stand on stage again. Thanks to you, I can once again feel that I am still so deeply loved.
I sincerely thank you for all the warm letters and thoughtful gifts you sent me. I felt the love in every message, in every gift, thinking, "What have I done to deserve such overwhelming and precious love...?" I found myself tearing up multiple times out of gratitude.
This fan meeting marked a new beginning for me, and because you were with me in that precious moment, I believe it will be remembered as the most valuable and exhilarating experience of my life. Without the unwavering support and love from all of you, I wouldn't be here today. You are my greatest strength and my reason for living, as well as the driving force of my life.
Once again, I sincerely thank you and will cherish all your precious hearts deeply, promising to repay you with an even better version of myself in the future.
Thank you so much, and I love you.
Let's definitely meet again!
