In episode 317 of KBS Joy's 'Anything Investigated,' aired on the 19th, a younger brother who drinks daily and an older brother who is worried about him appeared.
The two revealed that they are not true siblings but a caring older brother and younger brother. The older brother said, "He has a pathological love for alcohol. He drinks an average of 7 to 8 times a week. He drinks alone in the morning and then again in the evening with me. He drinks too much," expressing concern for his younger brother's health. Hearing this, Seo Jang-hoon remarked, "The older brother is kind. I would just let him die or not."
The younger brother said he generally drinks about 3 bottles of soju at a time, and he drinks up to 25 to 30 bottles a week. Seo Jang-hoon commented, "Your face. You didn't come back having drunk. Look at it later on screen. You're visibly intoxicated. Your eyes are bloodshot, and your face tone is (not good)," to which Lee Sugeun added, "Your eyes are gone." The older brother agreed, saying, "He says he has gained weight, but he has really fallen apart."
Lee Sugeun noted, "There was someone who came from Cheongju. He was someone who used to drink 2 bottles of soju each time. Soon you will end up like that," referring to a past alcoholic storyteller. Seo Jang-hoon bluntly said, "It's not about your appearance changing; you will die."
The younger brother said, "I tried exercising to quit it," and Seo Jang-hoon replied, "You need to be hospitalized." Lee Sugeun also added, "It's an addiction; you need to be hospitalized. You can suddenly collapse due to cirrhosis."
Lee Sugeun expressed concern, saying, "The drinking costs won't be trifling," and the younger brother honestly replied, "I estimate about 4.5 million won but spend about 3 million won (on drinking)."
Seo Jang-hoon asked when he started drinking, and the younger brother said he started just because it was tasty. The younger brother mentioned he has never had a health check-up, and Seo Jang-hoon said, "You will go soon. I'm serious. You said you gained weight? Rapid weight gain indicates there's something wrong, and there is a high possibility of swelling in your body. You don't want to die, do you? You might die like this. Get a health check-up immediately, consult seriously, and enter an alcohol treatment program to get hospitalized," he firmly stated.
