In the 317th episode of KBS Joy's "Anything Goes" broadcast on the 19th, the hero who rescued lives during the Yeongdeok wildfire appeared.
Vicky, who saved more than 34 people during the Yeongdeok wildfire, said they received an F-2 permanent resident visa, allowing them to stay in Korea indefinitely. This visa has no restrictions on occupation or duration.
The captain explained the chaotic situation during the wildfire. Vicky showed courage, stating, "Fire is very dangerous. You must not get hurt."
Seo Jang-hoon said, "I went to Indonesia for a match once. After returning, I felt that especially the Indonesians are very gentle and kind." The captain empathized, saying, "I had a son. Vicky feels like a son to me. On holidays, at performances, during meals, at the bathhouse... we lived like family. I want to go with Vicky as if we are family. Vicky has received a great opportunity, but I cannot hold them back (from staying in Korea). Even if they leave, I will support them."
Vicky mentioned, "My father is a forklift operator in Indonesia, and he earned a little money. I needed a lot of money." The captain explained the reason Vicky came to Korea, saying, "(In Indonesia) the salary is 200,000 won, but in Korea, it's ten times that."
Vicky said they have a wife in Indonesia. The F-2 visa Vicky received allows their family to stay in Korea as well. Vicky expressed uncertainty about whether to return to their hometown, and Seo Jang-hoon sincerely advised that it would be okay to go to Indonesia after working hard in Korea and improving their situation.
