Actor Lee Sang-yeob appeared as a special MC and truly showcased his loving side.
On the Nov. 18 broadcast of SBS 'My Little Old Boy,' Lee Sang-yeob said, "I hold events every 100 days based on the day we first met." Lee Sang-yeob, who confidently prepared an impersonation for the meeting with his in-laws, noted, "I prepared it to lighten the mood, but fortunately, I forgot it and didn't do it. I think that's why I can get married now." He showcased his impersonation parade, but no one noticed, which caused a burst of laughter. Meanwhile, Lee Sang-yeob said, "While filming a drama with my older sister Lee Min-jung, I developed a romantic notion of marriage after seeing her and Lee Byung-hun exchanging baby photos during breaks."
Especially touching was the news that Lee Sang-yeob performed a stem cell transplant for his mother, who was diagnosed with cancer. Lee Sang-yeob said, "My wife is not the type to show off, but she studied deeply about the illness and treatment. I was so grateful," adding, "My mom was discharged today before the recording."
The story of Lee Dong-gun achieving his dream of opening a café in Jeju Island was revealed on its soft-opening day. Located right in front of the sea, the café's interior captured the charm of the old house, and everyone was in awe. At that moment, Yoo Jung-soo, the representative known as the 'God of Cafés,' appeared to conduct the final test before opening. A nervous Lee Dong-gun brewed coffee, and Yoo Jung-soo, tasting it, noted, "Honestly, I was going to say something, but I'm surprised at how much you've improved since then," giving it a high score of 92. However, regarding the dessert, he said, "At this pace, the shop will go bankrupt," offering points for improvement.
Finally, customers arrived, and to help Lee Dong-gun, Lee Sang-min and Koo Bon-seung stepped in as one-day part-timers. The waiting line quickly formed, and the three were flustered by the incoming crowd. To make matters worse, orders piled up, creating a crisis, but the support from Sang-min and Bon-seung, who expertly managed the floor service and billing, shone.
To celebrate his future mother-in-law's birthday, Kim Jun-ho even rented a truck to visit his fiancée's house in Donghae. Kim Ji-min expressed her gratitude, saying, "It's much nicer than what I would get. It's the best gift before marriage." Her future brother-in-law lamented, "I found out about my sister's marriage through an article," expressing disappointment. However, he mentioned, "Thinking about how my brother-in-law will live with my sister's personality, I felt sorry for him. I will be on his side," revealing his affection for his brother-in-law.
Kim Jun-ho, who prepared an electronic drum set for his future mother-in-law, who started learning drums as a hobby, also arranged a barbecue party, which received a lot of praise in the studio with comments like, "He's chosen a good son-in-law."
After waiting inside a prepared gift box for 30 minutes, the future mother-in-law finally arrived, and it was time for Kim Jun-ho to make his appearance. However, due to crouching for too long, he lost the strength in his legs and collapsed in a comical scene, leaving the studio in laughter. Kim Ji-min's mother remarked, "In my lifetime, I've never received such a grand surprise. It's truly heartwarming," expressing her emotions. Special MC Lee Sang-yeob joked, "I'm currently taking notes. I'm studying whole pig barbecue, bouquets, and gifts," eliciting laughter.
At the end of that day's broadcast, actor Yoo Ji-tae appeared at Kim Jun-ho's invitation card delivery gathering, causing a stir. SBS 'My Little Old Boy' airs every Sunday at 9 p.m.
