The first guest on "Weekly Idol" returning after a six-month reorganization is the girl group MEOVV.
According to an OSEN report on the 19th, MEOVV (Suin, Gawon, Anna, Narin, Ella) recently completed their recording for the MBC M·MBC Every1 variety program "Weekly Idol."
"Weekly Idol" is a flagship entertainment program of MBC M·MBC Every1 that has been on air since July 2011. It serves as an entertainment entry point for all idols in South Korea and a guide for idol fans worldwide, making it a highly popular program among fans that idols must pass through before their comebacks. In particular, segments like "random play dance" and "n-speed dance" have become hot topics, solidifying its position as an essential course for idols.
"Weekly Idol," which took a break after its last broadcast in December of last year for reorganization, is returning after six months with new hosts. With MONSTA X's Minhyuk and CRAVITY's Hyungjun as the new MCs, the revamped "Weekly Idol" plans to maintain its existing strengths while expanding music-centered content that enhances communication with fans. Opportunities will be provided for direct interactions in spaces where music serves as a medium, allowing idols and fans to connect more closely.
The first guest is MEOVV. Debuting in September of last year, MEOVV applies a unique producing style from The Black Label that differentiates them from existing K-pop artists, allowing all members to showcase their unique charms and artist-like qualities without reservation.
