Recently, Park Myung-soo also shared his thoughts in a humorous way about non-entertainers who frequently appear on entertainment programs like his senior Lee Kyung-kyu.
On the 16th broadcast of KBS CoolFM's 'Park Myung-soo's Radio Show,' K League legends Lee Yong-pyo, Hyun Young-min, and Baek Ji-hoon appeared as guests.
That day, the three showcased their delightful wit by participating in their third appearance on the 'Radio Show' under the name 'Volunteer.'
In response, Park Myung-soo said, "There has never been anything like this in history. It's the first time someone comes this often," expressing his delight, while also humorously noting, "If such people keep appearing on entertainment programs, there won't be any place for entertainers. This can't continue." He added jokingly that he should talk to the Korea Comedy Association's president Kim Hak-rae to prevent their grants, making the studio burst into laughter.
Such remarks by Park Myung-soo are reminiscent of the 'entertainment industry blacklist' recently revealed by Lee Kyung-kyu on his show. Earlier, Lee Kyung-kyu mentioned on KBS2's 'Boss's Ears Are Donkey's Ears' that he created a 'prohibition list for appearances,' mentioning soccer player Ahn Jung-hwan, restaurant representative Paik Jong-won, producers Na Young-seok and Kim Tae-ho, actor Lee Seo-jin, Jeong Yoo-mi, broadcaster Kim Sung-joo, Jang Sung-kyu, model Lee Hyun-yi, and Joo Woo-jae among others. He added, "Everyone should return to their respective jobs," saying, "We have to protect entertainment," which received applause.
Lee Kyung-kyu also mentioned at the time, "Jun Hyun-moo was originally on the list, but I took him off because he appeared on my YouTube," adding a backstory that it is both a list of prohibited appearances and a 'top candidate' list, which made people laugh. Netizens reacted, saying, "'Prohibition list for appearances = top candidate list' is legendary haha, Lee Kyung-kyu is really funny," "Is there a line between non-entertainers and entertainers haha? I can relate though," "It's unfortunate that the standing for comedians is getting smaller," and "Those who are primarily entertainers like Park Myung-soo and Lee Kyung-kyu should hold the center haha."
Despite this, Park Myung-soo and Lee Kyung-kyu, both lending figures who are protecting the core of entertainment, are receiving simultaneous laughter and understanding from the public for their 'instinct to protect entertainment.'
