Actress Ha-young showcased her culinary skills along with her artistic elite.
On the 16th, KBS2TV's 'Stars' Top Recipe at Fun-Staurant' featured actress Ha-young demonstrating her excellent cooking skills.
Ha-young said, "I bought 'ggot.' I was eating ramen and almost finished eating the 'ggot' kimchi," and added, "I plan to make 'ggot' kimchi at home." Ha-young stated that she has a lot of experience with kimjang. Ha-young noted, "I was exploited for labor by my mom, and I learned seasoning and stuff like that over her shoulder. I became able to make it roughly."
Ha-young confidently embraced Korean cuisine and surprised those around her by mastering various dishes. She noted, "I live with my sister's family, and sometimes I take care of my niece's meals when my sister is not around," showcasing a wide range of western-style cooking and even baking.
Ha-young, who is 31 years old, revealed her cooking experience spans 20 years, surprising everyone. She stated, "I brought my mom's kimchi," as she pulled out the kimchi. Ha-young added, "My mom likes kimchi made with 'hwangseogeo' (yellow corvina)," revealing various types of kimchi that caught people's attention.
Ha-young revealed her secret for 'ggot' kimchi by using fish sauce instead of salting. She stated, "If you add anchovy fish sauce without salting it, it actually enhances the umami flavor."
While preparing the seasoning sauce, Ha-young got an apple ready. However, since there was no blender, she amused everyone by using the apple juice she received after eating chicken feet. Additionally, Ha-young drew attention while making flour paste by using the microwave.
Ha-young captured attention by quickly creating a space while making 'ggot' kimchi, saying, "How to survive in a mini-house." Yet, without plastic wrap, she used "an unused canvas" and laid it directly on the floor. She mentioned, "This is also a kind of kimchi drawing."
Ha-young started to coat 'ggot' with seasoning using her bare hands, drawing attention. She promptly completed a jar of 'ggot' kimchi.
Afterward, Ha-young opened the ramen storage again and pulled out calzone ramen. She remarked, "I will make yakisoba with this. This is a recipe that can create an izakaya right away," introducing it as a snack to accompany beer.
