The 'Mobile Popular Music Concert' organized by the Korea Popular Music Performance Industry Association (hereafter referred to as the KPPIA), which was scheduled for last April but postponed due to rain, will be held on the 18th (Sunday) at 3 p.m. in the Abnewfrank stage square within the Baegot New Town, Siheung City. This performance is open to anyone and will be conducted on a first-come, first-served basis on the day of the event.
With an emotional music lineup resonating in the heart of Siheung City, the performers include 'Jit-eun,' a master of delicate sounds that touch the heart with a deep and rich timbre, 'Owol-ol,' an emotional band that captivates with sweet melodies and unique sensitivity, and 'Omo,' a female duo that delivers warm emotions with clear and refreshing harmonies, promising a joyful experience.
The 'Mobile Popular Music Concert' is part of a nationwide free performance program that will take place in various cultural disadvantaged areas across the country, with a total of 13 performances scheduled until the end of May. It aims to provide opportunities for local residents to enjoy culture through music. Previously, on April 30th, a performance held in Hwacheon, Gangwon Province to celebrate Culture Day (held on the last Wednesday of every month) concluded successfully, receiving a warm response from the audience.
Meanwhile, the Korea Popular Music Performance Industry Association is composed of 43 member companies that organize various popular music performances such as concerts, festivals, world tours, and domestic performances, forming a non-profit organization that collaborates for the future of the popular music performance industry and the rights of its workers.
