KBS2's 'Immortal Songs' (directed by Park Hyung-keun, Kim Hyung-seok, and Choi Seung-beom) has held the number one spot in viewer ratings for nearly 14 years and is regarded as the best music variety program. The 706th episode, airing today (17th), will feature the '2025 Oh My Star' special.
Making his first appearance on 'Immortal Songs,' Lee Seung-gi said, "I'm greeting you for the first time. I'm excited," while expressing his desire to win right from the start. He encouraged Lee Hong-ki by saying, "Why do you seem so weak today?" and then lightened the mood by asking, "Can I get someone else since I don't think I'm in good condition today?" He added, "I've actually hosted a competition before, but this is my first time stepping on stage," revealing his pressure for his first competition after 21 years, and jokingly lamented, "I hope so many of you had time to come out while I happened to appear."
Meanwhile, the genuine friendship between Lee Seung-gi and Lee Hong-ki attracts attention as they display their bickering chemistry. Lee Hong-ki joked, "We are the Jeonju Lee family members," to which Lee Seung-gi replied, "We're just the closest among the many Jeonju Lee family members," sparking laughter in the talk waiting room with their playful banter.
