BTS members Jimin and Jungkook have added significant records as solo artists.
According to the list of this year's award winners (songs) announced at the 2025 BMI Pop Awards, Jimin's "Like Crazy" and "Who," along with Jungkook's "3D (feat. Jack Harlow)" and "Standing Next to You," have been recognized as the "Most Performed Songs of the Year."
The BMI Pop Awards is an annual ceremony hosted by Broadcast Music, Inc. (BMI), a music copyright management organization established in 1939, which honors songs that have achieved outstanding success in the pop music field, as well as their creators and music publishers.
The "Most Performed Songs of the Year" institutional sector of this ceremony selects the top 50 songs that were most played and broadcast in the United States across radio, TV, performances, and digital platforms over the year. This year, a total of 51 songs were selected, among which Jimin and Jungkook each had 2 songs listed, once again proving their distinct presence and influence in the U.S.
Jimin's title track "Like Crazy" from his first solo album "FACE" debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's main song chart "Hot 100" upon its release in April 2023. This marked the first record for a K-pop artist's solo song to reach the top of this chart. Subsequently, Jimin entered the Billboard "Hot 100" for 33 weeks with the title track "Who" from his second solo album "MUSE," setting a record for the longest-charting K-pop solo artist.
Jungkook produced award-winning songs in this institutional sector for three consecutive years, following his collaboration song "Left and Right (Feat. Jung Kook of BTS)" with Charlie Puth in 2023 and "Seven (feat. Latto)" in 2024. Both his solo single "3D (feat. Jack Harlow)" and the title track "Standing Next to You" from his first solo album "GOLDEN" have landed in the top 10 of the Billboard "Hot 100," earning great love from global fans.
