The character video of the film 'Hi-5' has been unveiled.
On the 16th, the production team of the film 'Hi-5' (directed by Kang Hyung-chul, provided/distributed by NEW, produced by Annapurna Film) released the character video.
'Hi-5' is a comic action spectacle that depicts the story of five individuals who accidentally gain different superpowers through organ transplants and encounter those who covet their abilities. It has emerged as the most anticipated work of this summer, promising a quirky story centered on superpowers, delightful chemistry among vibrant characters, and refreshing, thrilling action.
The released video draws attention to scenes where individuals who gained superpowers after receiving organ transplants from a mysterious donor introduce their abilities. First, the taekwondo girl 'Wan-seo,' who received a heart transplant, astounds with her immense strength that can break the ceiling with a single kick and speed that can propel her skyward. Her nonchalant reaction saying, "I thought my growth plates had opened up," adds to the character's distinctive charm.
With the line "Here comes the oxygen tank," the aspiring writer 'Ji-seong' appears like a problem solver, using a strong wind superpower gained after receiving a lung transplant to blow away everything in his sight, raising expectations for his unique performance. Next, the fresh manager 'Seon-nyeo,' who shows off her improved looks and fiery oral action after a kidney transplant, heightens curiosity about her mysterious superpower yet to be discovered, while the work leader 'Yak-seon', who appears with persistent nagging, showcases the reversal aspect of healing others with the all-curing ability obtained from a liver transplant, revealing a dependable charm with the line, "I'm fine after drinking a glass of water."
The emergence of a menacing villain 'Young-chun,' who gained youth after receiving a pancreas transplant, creates tension with a distinctly different atmosphere, threatening Team 'Hi-5'. Finally, the taekwondo instructor 'Jong-min,' who would do anything for his daughter 'Wan-seo,' is expected to showcase the superpower of the world's strongest dad.
'Hi-5' will be available in theaters on the 30th.
