KBS 2TV 'Boss's ears are donkey ears' (directed by Ahn Sang-eun, hereafter 'Boss's ears') is a program for South Korean bosses focusing on voluntary role reversal and self-reflection to create a workplace that offers a sense of purpose. In the upcoming 306th episode airing on the 18th (Sunday), ballad prince Byun Jin-seob joins as a new boss, showcasing the perfectionist traits of the long-reigning ballad prince.
Byun Jin-seob noted, "Artists tend to be very sensitive, while I think I'm quite easygoing and have a good personality." However, employees who have been with the Byun Jin-seob band for nearly 20 years provide a twist by saying, "He looks like Dooly but has the personality of Ko Gil-dong," testifying to the sensitive and ultimate sensitive side of Byun Jin-seob. Additionally, Byun Jin-seob adds, "It really depends on my mood each day," revealing his hidden daily life that shifts between Dooly and Byun Gil-dong in minute detail.
Especially during practice for the upcoming Busan performance, Byun Jin-seob appeared as Dooly and, while practicing "To the Ladies" followed by "Again to You," said, "I'm going to do it rock style. Throughout the rehearsal watching Byun Jin-seob, Kim Hyo-jin showcased her loyalty as a super fan by claiming, "His voice has three-dimensionality," while Byun Jin-seob expressed his dissatisfaction, saying, "I'm not feeling it." When the band members remarked, "We've been doing this for 10 years," Byun Jin-seob replied, "I haven't liked it for the past 10 years," once again displaying his three-dimensional mood. Jun Hyun-moo then chimed in, "Brother, you've had the same hairstyle for 30 years," signaling Jun Hyun-moo stepping up to challenge Byun Jin-seob. In response, Byun Jin-seob reportedly said, "The atmosphere on 'Boss's ears' is quite intense," feeling overwhelmed.
