The Netflix series 'Weak Hero Class 2' is quietly but powerfully making an impact.
Since its global release on April 25, it achieved first place in 32 countries within two days and has been continuing its global popularity for three weeks.
According to the Netflix Tudum site, 'Weak Hero Class 2' recorded 6.1 million views in its first week (4/21–4/27) and proudly secured the first place in the global Top 10 non-English institutional sector series, while in its second week (4/28–5/4) it recorded 6.4 million views, placing second in the same chart. In its third week from May 5 to May 11, it recorded 2.4 million views, landing in fourth place in the same chart.
Moreover, 'Weak Hero Class 2' has maintained its presence in the Top 10 in 33 countries three weeks after its release, continuing to set remarkable records. Just as 'Weak Hero Class 1' was in the global Top 10 non-English series for six consecutive weeks after its release on Netflix, attention is focused on whether 'Weak Hero Class 2' can continue that reputation.
In the meantime, interest is concentrated on the future endeavors of Park Ji-hoon, who played the protagonist Yeon Si-eun, and Bae Na-ra, who played the villain Na Baek-jin. Following 'Weak Hero Class 1,' Park Ji-hoon fully embodied his character in 'Weak Hero Class 2' and is receiving offers from various media, while currently focusing on filming his upcoming movie 'The Man Who Lives with Kings (tentative title).'
Bae Na-ra, who beautifully portrayed the compelling Na Baek-jin, is currently appearing in Genie TV's original 'Tastefully Yours' as Han Beom-woo, the older brother and competitor of Kang Ha-neul, showcasing another charisma to the audience. Moreover, Bae Na-ra has announced that she will join the SBS drama '宇宙메리미,' which Choi Woo-shik and Jung So-min have already confirmed their appearances in, continuing her busy work.
