On the 15th, ENA confirmed that it will air the TV version of the web entertainment 'Criminal Record,' produced by content company OOTB, in May. The scheduled 'Criminal Record' will capture attention with the re-enlistment of first criminal record Lee Chang-seop and includes a total of 10 episodes, starting with the 'Army 3rd Officer Academy' episode, which surpassed 11 million views, as well as the 'Hanyang University Vocal Music Department,' and the first challenge of second criminal record Kai, 'KAIST Chemistry.'
'Criminal Record' is a mega-hit web entertainment with a cumulative 1.2 billion views on YouTube, featuring content that reviews various academic departments. It is a campus culture revival project that captures information, empathy, and memories shared by first criminal record Lee Chang-seop, who established himself as an MC from 2022, and second criminal record Kai, who has transformed into an entertainment star.
ENA is providing various attractions to the 2049 target audience through bold programming that includes the first TV reveal of 'Criminal Record' alongside 'Salon Drip.'
Park Cheol-min, head of the programming center at ENA, noted, "Viewer content consumption patterns are crossing the boundaries of broadcast and digital, and ENA will offer enjoyment to viewers through diverse programming," adding, "ENA has proven that YouTube and broadcasting can synergize through 'World Travel of Jigmong,' and last year captured both ratings and efficiency through 'Salon Drip 2.' We will enhance the brand value of ENA, a channel that appeals to young audiences, through OOTB Studio's YouTube content, 'Criminal Record.'"
ENA channel, which is beloved by the 2049 audience, is expanding its brand influence by achieving high ratings and securing a spot in the top 5 viewer rankings through original content such as the drama 'New Recruit,' 'I Am Solo,' and 'World Travel of Jigmong.'
The TV version of 'Criminal Record' will be available every Friday on the ENA channel starting May 23.
