Singer Sung Si-kyung's team urged caution regarding a scam involving impersonation of the production team from the YouTube segment "What to Eat."
On the 14th, Sung Si-kyung's agency, SK Jae Won Co., Ltd., posted on official social media, saying "Beware of scams," along with a screenshot containing a contact number.
In addition, the agency stated, "Someone contacted us claiming they were filming 'What to Eat Season 2' and made reservations using the phone number posted in the photo, encouraging liquor purchases and requesting money. Please be careful of scam calls and do not respond to financial requests."
They also added, "Our 'What to Eat' team absolutely does not request liquor purchases or demand money. Please be cautious of scams, and if you have any questions, contact us via Instagram DM or reach out to Hyun-soo, the manager you know."
Sung Si-kyung's team requested, "Fans, if you visit the restaurant featured in 'What to Eat,' please be sure to mention it to the owner."
