Former Miss Korea contestant Kim Dana will serve as the new host of the children's educational entertainment content "Let's Pang Pang Season 2."
KK Media (Keystone of Korea Media), a company specializing in children's program content, recently signed an official supply contract with Channel A, announcing the program launch and selecting Kim Dana as "Pang Pang Unnie."
"Let's Pang Pang Season 2" is an innovative children's participatory TV program that merges education, play, and entertainment, distinguishing itself from existing passive content. From the planning stage, it has adopted a unique participatory system that can elicit children's creativity and imagination, and is set to air for the first time between late May and mid-June.
In particular, it is structured as storytelling-based episodes featuring monster characters to help children easily and naturally acquire interpersonal skills and knowledge. This season is characterized by its consideration of the comprehensive development of emotional quotient (EQ), intelligence quotient (IQ), and creativity quotient (CQ). It has been designed to encourage children to actively participate as the main players of the program, focusing on conveying healthy and meaningful messages without stimulating elements.
A representative from KK Media noted, "This program will have a positive impact on children around the world through content that allows them to nurture dreams and hopes," and added, "Kim Dana, stepping in as 'Pang Pang Unnie', is expected to bring bright and warm energy to the show."
Kim Dana expressed, "It is an immense honor for me just to engage with the children who will create our future," and vowed, "I will strive to help with the emotional stability and social development of children through this program."
Kim Dana, who is a 2019 Miss Korea Daejeon-Sejong-Chungcheong winner, has appeared in recent dramas "My Merry Marriage" and "Haunted Palace," and is expected to draw viewer engagement as the host of a children's program.
