Actor Park Eun-soo expressed feelings of injustice over being accused of fraud.
On the 14th, Park Eun-soo stated in a phone call with OSEN regarding the allegation of fraud amounting to tens of millions of won that it is "nonsensical."
Earlier that day, the Hwaseong Western Police Station in Gyeonggi reported that a representative of an entertainment agency, identified as A, filed a complaint against Park Eun-soo for fraud.
According to the complaint, A claimed to have lent Park Eun-soo money worth 26.5 million won multiple times after she expressed financial difficulties and stated that after signing a contract with her agency, she conducted performances and produced albums but instead appeared in events produced by other agencies, generating other revenue.
Additionally, A claims that upon discovering this fact, when requested to repay the debt, Park Eun-soo denies the very act of borrowing money.
However, Park Eun-soo's side strongly refuted these claims, stating, "It is entirely unrelated. There should be no grounds for us to be accused."
Park Eun-soo's side refuted, stating, "A is a friend of a friend. They came several times wanting to treat me, and I sent them transportation costs. I went there two or three times because they invited me, and it is true that I performed at their request. They gave me the performance fee at that time, and now they are demanding compensation for the total amount after suffering losses from the event."
They continued, "I should have been paid more for the grants, but I haven't received everything. It wasn't paid all at once, and I received it several times."
Park Eun-soo's side announced plans to counter-sue for fraud and false accusations, stating, "We haven't received any communication from A; suddenly, a letter was sent to us one day. We feel wronged. We cannot just stay silent. We do not know what should be done, but since we are being accused, we will also respond."
