Actor YIDO has returned to fans after completing his defense duties.
On the 14th, YIDO stated on his social media account, "It felt long if it was long, and short if it was short, but for me, a year and 9 months, or 3 years in total, has passed. Time that felt long has passed by quickly, and I feel a bit regretful! However, I feel free because I think I did my best in my military service without regrets."
YIDO noted, "I want to share the stories that I haven't been able to share with fans until now, so I am preparing a space where I can communicate directly. I am working hard to show as many different sides of me as possible. I would appreciate it if the fans who have given me love could brighten this event, so I can repay you even a little."
He added, "My future feels like a mix of fear and excitement. I will greet you with good works and good acting with the determination to become a better person."
Meanwhile, YIDO enlisted on Aug. 14, 2023, serving in the Air Force Military Band. He reported his discharge on the morning of the 13th at the Air Force Headquarters in Gyeryong, completing his defense duties. Lim Ji-yeon, who is in a relationship with YIDO, reportedly could not attend the discharge ceremony as she was at a jewelry brand photo call that morning.
