Actor Park Kang-hyun's casting for some performances of 'Aladdin' will be changed due to an ankle injury.
On the 14th, Park Kang-hyun's agency Yumeik Company stated through its official account, "Actor Park Kang-hyun recently suffered an ankle injury during a performance of the musical 'Aladdin' and visited the hospital immediately after the performance to receive treatment."
They added, "Based on the medical team's opinion, he is in a condition that requires sufficient rest and stability, and in consideration of the actor's health as the top priority, it is regrettably expected that changes will be made to the casting for some performances of the musical 'Aladdin.' We sincerely apologize to all the audience members who have been waiting for the performance and ask for your generous understanding."
The agency further noted, "Yumeik Company will do its utmost to ensure that Park Kang-hyun makes a swift recovery," and "we once again apologize for causing concern with this sudden news and ask for the warm understanding and support from our fans."
Meanwhile, the musical 'Aladdin,' featuring Park Kang-hyun, has been running at the Charlotte Theater in Songpa District, Seoul, since November of last year. Park Kang-hyun plays the role of Aladdin, the main character of the musical 'Aladdin.'
