The 'Trustworthy Performance' MONSTA X (MONSTA X: Shownu, Minhyuk, Kihyun, Hyungwon, Joohoney, IM) has celebrated its 10th anniversary.
MONSTA X made its debut in the music industry on May 14, 2015, with their first mini-album 'TRESPASS.' Like their team name, which means 'monsters dominating the K-pop market,' they showcased powerful performances and a unique musical color right from the start, leaving a strong impression.
Afterward, MONSTA X released numerous hit songs including 'DRAMARAMA,' 'Shoot Out,' 'Love Killa,' 'Alligator,' and 'GAMBLER,' forming a global fandom and growing into a representative group of K-pop.
In particular, they earned the title of 'Trustworthy Performance' artisans for their outstanding live skills, which remained unwavering even during powerful performances. They have established themselves as icons of 'stepwise growth' by consistently achieving new career highs each year with their irreplaceable charm.
Their popularity overseas is also remarkable. In 2018, MONSTA X became the first K-pop group to join the local major year-end concert 'Jingle Ball' tour hosted by iHeartRadio, participating a total of three times in the tour until 2021, achieving an unprecedented career as K-pop artists.
Additionally, with their first U.S. studio album 'ALL ABOUT LUV' released in 2020, they entered the U.S. Billboard main album chart 'Billboard 200' at number 5, and with their second English album 'THE DREAMING,' they demonstrated their solid global presence by being on the 'Billboard 200' for two consecutive weeks.
MONSTA X boasts an irreplaceable presence not only in the music scene but also in broadcasting.
