Singer Kim Heung-kook declared his public support for Kim Moon-soo, the People Power Party presidential candidate, and promised to support nationwide campaigning.
At a press conference held on the 13th at the People Power Party's headquarters in Yeouido, Seoul, Kim Heung-kook stated, "If it helps the Republic of Korea and the conservative right-wing people for the victory in this 6·3 presidential election, I will work hard alongside candidate Kim at the nationwide campaign venues."
He then emphasized, "I came here today to support with the determination to give my all so that more conservative entertainers can ensure victory. Conservative entertainers are the mood makers. I believe that when conservative entertainers go out, they can easily get close to the people who are struggling and that they will be significantly helpful in the election."
On this day, 10 entertainers including actors Choi Joon-yong, Noh Hyun-hee, comedian Shin Dong-soo, and Lee Hyuk-jae attended the press conference to express their support for candidate Kim Moon-soo.
Candidate Kim Moon-soo smiled and said, "I am grateful for the support of entertainers," and added, "I will surely win through a campaign that connects with the people."
