"Shall I introduce my ex-husband?" Comedian Jo Hye-ryeon's unique sense of humor even caught her close junior Song Eun-yi off guard.
On the 13th, a video titled "Be careful! If you move, you should have a housewarming? A housewarming with the sisters who always think of Seo" was uploaded to the YouTube channel VIVO TV. The video documented Song Eun-yi, the representative of media lab CISO, inviting her close comedian seniors Lee Seong-mi and Jo Hye-ryeon to a housewarming at her new home.
In a situation showcasing an online housewarming, Song Eun-yi humbly stated, "As you know, it's just an APT. layout," but the scenery overlooking the forest, the clean interior, and the spacious layout drew attention. Notably, he introduced his study, saying it was "the space he invested the most effort in." It was the first time he created his own study. It was referred to as the study of "Song Seo." Song Eun-yi, who has previously revealed a hobby of collecting various stationery, impressed everyone with a neatly organized study that features books and hobby tools.
The living room also attracted attention with its bright and highly favored layout. Moreover, Song Eun-yi stated, "One of the reasons I decided to come to this house is the amazing view," boasting a rare urban park view that allows one to experience all four seasons. Additionally, a cute rug caught the eye. In this regard, Song Eun-yi mentioned the MBC variety program Omniscient Interfering View, in which he is a regular cast member, explaining, "The rug was given to the Omniscient Interfering View team by Jun Hyun-moo while filming an art program," adding to the surprise.
In the picturesque scenery, Lee Seong-mi and Jo Hye-ryeon expressed concern for the single Song Eun-yi. Since Lee Seong-mi has a family and Jo Hye-ryeon has remarried, they felt sorry for their beloved junior comedian's single life. In response, Jo Hye-ryeon said, "If a really good person comes along, may they guide me to settle down here and live a happy life, and since we are here today, may it lead to plenty of broadcast segments for us," even praying to make Song Eun-yi 'laugh and cry.'
Then, when Song Eun-yi brought out her mother's bachelor kimchi, which boasts of the taste from her hometown Jeolla Province, Jo Hye-ryeon quipped, "There must be a bachelor in the kimchi. There must be positive energy in the house." Song Eun-yi nodded, saying, "My mom constantly sends me bachelor kimchi." Lee Seong-mi chimed in, "Since there isn't a bachelor at home, the kimchi doesn't stop," adding to the laughter.
On the other hand, Jo Hye-ryeon noted about her remarriage, "If there's anything that Song Eun-yi envies about me, it's that I've been married twice." To this, Lee Seong-mi teased, "It's like stealing someone else's." Jo Hye-ryeon worriedly asked, "Are you saying that since I've done it twice, you shouldn't?" Meanwhile, Song Eun-yi attempted to interject, saying, "Not necessarily," but Jo Hye-ryeon responded, "Shall I introduce you to my ex-husband? I heard he's still single," causing a burst of laughter. He quickly apologized, saying, "I'm sorry. That doesn't seem right. I'll pay for the meal."
Amidst the ongoing jokes, Jo Hye-ryeon showed her genuine affection for Song Eun-yi. She emphasized, "These days, rather than just being pretty, isn't it better to find someone unique who fits your style? I would like someone who loves Eun-yi herself." In response, Song Eun-yi said, "I have this strange confidence, but I've been thinking since long ago, 'Isn't there someone out there?'"
In discussing the contrasting husband figures in the recently popular Netflix original series When Life Gives You Tangerines, portraying the caring Yang Gwan-sik (played by Park Bo-gum and Park Hae-joon) and the patriarchal male figure, a.k.a. 'Hak-ssi' Bu Sang-gil (played by Choi Dae-hoon), Song Eun-yi remarked, "If someone like Yang Gwan-sik exists, I think I wouldn't like it very much. I think the transformation after realizing one's wrongs is what I like," delivering an unexpected twist.
