WSWF is heating up fans' emotions with colorful behind-the-scenes videos before its broadcast.
The first episode of Mnet's "World of Street Woman Fighter" (directed by Kwon Young-chan CP and Choi Jeong-nam PD, hereinafter referred to as "WSWF") will air on Tuesday, the 27th, at 10 p.m. It is the third season of Mnet's mega hit 'Street Woman Fighter' and is preparing to meet viewers through an inter-country competition involving five countries, including Korea, New Zealand, the United States, Japan, and Australia.
In the meantime, the WSWF team released behind-the-scenes footage of profile shoots capturing the hidden charms of six global crews: AG SQUAD, BUMSUP, MOTIV, OSAKA Ojo Gang, RHTokyo, and ROYAL FAMILY, through their YouTube channel The CHOOM, further immersing fans before the first broadcast.
The video captures a different side, full of reverse charm from the dancers, unlike their charismatic stage appearances, drawing strong reactions from fans. AG SQUAD showcases their charm by directly making and wearing their costumes, while BUMSUP displays a fantastic synergy offstage as if they had been collaborating for years, and MOTIV demonstrates overwhelming excitement with continuous audio during the poster shoot, captivating fans even before the show starts.
OSAKA Ojo Gang, which includes world-renowned waacking dancer Ibuki, adds a twist with their whimsical charm, contrasting with their impressive "main job moment" on stage. RHTokyo is heightening anticipation with the return of familiar faces like Riehata and Rena, who have previously participated in the "Street Woman Fighter" series. The "world-class crew" ROYAL FAMILY, which garnered attention just by the announcement of their participation, showcases a surprising "shy" charm offstage, and member Tiare, who learned Korean through K-dramas, has attracted attention with her remarkable Korean language skills.
Highlighting the individual charms of the crew members, the hidden relationships among them are also essential points for drawing in fans. Notably, BUMSUP's Gabee captivates the scene with her unique energy and unpredictable talk. Internet users have responded enthusiastically, leaving comments like, "Gabee and Lee Jeong's chemistry is real!" (BUMSUP), "Kaea's eye smile is captivating" (AG SQUAD), "I keep looking at Fantaye" (MOTIV), "Kyoka's star quality is insane... her speech is addictive" (OSAKA Ojo Gang), "Rena, a veteran of 'Street Woman Fighter,' is so cute" (RHTokyo), and "They had a strong image, but everyone is gentle" (ROYAL FAMILY), generating explosive interest.
Meanwhile, The CHOOM's YouTube channel previously drew attention by releasing behind-the-scenes footage of the crew's cheer song recordings. The unique journey of the six global crews recording their own cheer songs captures the special chemistry among the crew members that is hard to find in the main broadcast. After the video was released, comments such as, "All the sisters are adorable," and "The leaders are shooting their own variety show... just breathing is funny" flooded in, expressing excitement for the first broadcast. Fans' anticipation is soaring with such behind-the-scenes footage that cannot be seen anywhere else.
The production team of The CHOOM, which is responsible for the creation of the WSWF behind-the-scenes videos, noted, "If viewers can see the fierce competition of world-class dancers who spare no effort as fighters on the broadcast, we have captured moments of surprise from the dancers that cannot be fully shown on screen in the behind-the-scenes videos." They added, "We plan to present various behind-the-scenes videos, including a rediscovery of dancers that attract fans and the stories of the global six crews enjoying Korea, so please show us your interest and support."
Predicted to create another syndrome with the behind-the-scenes footage of the six crews, Mnet's WSWF will air its first episode on Tuesday, the 27th, at 10 p.m.
