On the 12th episode of SBS 'Same Bed, Different Dreams 2 - You Are My Destiny,' Jung Joong-sik, the original author of 'I Am a Firefly,' showed different thoughts about marriage with his fiancée, Jang Jae-na.
On this day, Jung Joong-sik and Jang Jae-na displayed contrasting attitudes toward wedding preparations. Jang Jae-na, ahead of their October wedding, organized a table in Excel, showing meticulousness, while Jung Joong-sik did not seem to be concerned about the preparations.
Jung Joong-sik, through an interview with the production team, said, "Looking at the preparation list, the wedding is just a show to show our parents how well we are going to live," and noted, "There is too much superficiality."
Jung Joong-sik told Jang Jae-na, "I hope we can skip the traditional dress for our parents. Let's rather give them suits," adding, "I think they wouldn't want to wear traditional dress either. Why does everyone live to fit in with others?"
Jang Jae-na asked, "Then why are you wearing a tuxedo and why am I wearing a dress?" Jung Joong-sik surprised those around him by saying, "I do not want to wear a tuxedo."
Jung Joong-sik said, "If you allow it, I want to wear something else." Jang Jae-na's expression became stiff at Jung Joong-sik's remark. Jung Joong-sik playfully suggested, "How about a dress-up as Luffy, from One Piece? I think a clown costume would also be good."
An angry Jang Jae-na said, "Stop it." Jung Joong-sik responded, "Are you angry? I understand. Let's wear a tuxedo and have our parents in traditional dress," which suddenly made Jang Jae-na smile. Jung Joong-sik began to grab Jang Jae-na's foot and smell it. Jung Joong-sik exclaimed, "The name of this smell is love," surprising those around him.
