"Ten million actor" YIDO is returning.
YIDO completed approximately 21 months of military service today (13th) and was discharged before his term ended. YIDO joined the training center on Aug. 14, 2023, completed basic military training, and diligently fulfilled his defense duties in the Air Force Military Band.
YIDO proved to be an irreplaceable presence during his military service, rendering the term "military hiatus" meaningless. In particular, YIDO achieved 11.91 million viewers with his screen debut film "Pamyo," earning him the title of "ten million actor." With his first film, first lead character, and having attracted his first ten million viewers, YIDO has brilliantly adorned the first chapter of his filmography.
Thanks to his immense popularity, YIDO received the Best New Actor in Film award at the 60th Baeksang Arts Awards for "Pamyo." At the time, YIDO noted, "I will meet you as actor YIDO next May."
In addition to "Pamyo," the TVING original series "Lee Jae, Soon to Die" and the Netflix original series "Sweet Home Season 3" will be sequentially released, showcasing various facets of YIDO.
Since debuting in 2017 with tvN's "Prison Playbook," YIDO has consistently worked on projects, building a solid filmography through works such as "18 Again," "Sweet Home," "The Glory," and "Bad Mother."
