On KBS Joy's 'Ask Us Anything Fortune Teller,' which aired on the 12th, a participant appeared, stating she is raising a child alone without informing her ex-boyfriend.
The 35-year-old participant, who runs an online shopping mall, shared, "I broke up with my ex-boyfriend, but I am raising the child alone without informing him of the birth. I am increasingly becoming financially strained and am wondering if I can claim child support."
The single mother explained when she met her ex-boyfriend in response to a question saying, "I met him in April 2022 through a dating app." Seo Jang-hoon, noting that meeting someone through a dating app generally has many downsides, raised his voice, saying, "You don't even know who they are or what they do."
Seo Jang-hoon reacted strongly to the participant's comment that they quickly started dating because they seemed well-suited for each other, saying, "You've come at a good time. Everything I've been saying is right here. You just pick what not to do." He also said, "Get out of here."
The participant recounted, "We dated for about three months. It was good at first. Due to COVID-19, we stayed home and didn't go to work. Whenever I drank, I would fight with my friend over a video call. Disappointment and loneliness came rushing in, and we ended up breaking up."
The participant added, "In April 2023, I was hospitalized for bipolar disorder. However, I received a call from the hospital stating that they thought I might be pregnant and that I would need to confirm it." The participant, who didn't know she was pregnant until the last month, stated, "I didn't have morning sickness, so I found out in the last month. I learned on April 4th and gave birth on April 8th," revealing a shocking fact.
