Actress Amber Heard (39) announced the birth of her twins on Mother's Day, expressing her overwhelming feelings by saying, "The family I have dreamed of for years is finally complete." This also marks another significant turning point in her life after she obtained her first daughter, Una, through a surrogate in 2021.
Heard revealed on the 11th (local time) through her Instagram, "Mother's Day 2025 will be a day I will never forget," adding, "Twin daughters Agnes and son Ocean fill my hands and heart completely." She continued, "Four years ago, when I first held my daughter Una, I thought there would be no greater joy, but now it feels like that joy has tripled."
Heard stated, "Becoming a mother in my own way, through the challenges of infertility, was the most humbling experience of my life," and added, "At this moment, I want to share this joy with everyone who has become a mother in any way."
Previously, Heard revealed on social media that she gave birth to her first daughter, Una Page, through a surrogate in July 2021. At the time, some U.S. media raised suspicions about surrogate childbirth, and Heard did not clarify this but maintained her position supporting women's diverse family choices by saying, "I wanted to make the decision to have a child in my own way."
Heard moved to Spain after leaving the U.S. following her defamation lawsuit with Johnny Depp. This occurred shortly after a Virginia court mostly sided with Depp, ordering Heard to pay about 1.3 billion won in damages. She later retracted her appeal, stating, "I advocated for my truth and did so knowing my life was destroyed."
After the trial, Heard sold her home in Yucca Valley, California, for about $1.1 million and started a new life in Madrid, Spain, with her daughter. Recently, she has reportedly reduced her acting activities and is focusing on family time as the center of her life.
Heard expressed satisfaction with her life as a homemaker, saying, "Now spending time with my children rather than with lawyers is the greatest blessing," adding that with the birth of the twins, she is now quietly but strongly writing a new chapter as a mother of three.
Meanwhile, Heard was named the world's most beautiful face in July 2016, as announced by the British Daily Mail, based on calculations of facial ratios and symmetry using a computer.
