Today (12th) at 8:10 p.m., Channel A's 'Close Friends Documentary - Four-Person Table' will feature singer 'Han Hye-jin.'
Singer Han Hye-jin hosts a housewarming party, inviting close friends Jin-seong, Oh Yu-jin, and Hong-ja to her newly moved-in three-story mansion. On this day, to assist Han Hye-jin, who is particularly bad at cooking, Jin-seong, who has experience running a restaurant, is set to take the lead as the main chef, raising expectations.
Han Hye-jin introduces her house to her close friends, mentioning that it is a house built to spend her later years with her husband. She confesses the heartbreaking story of having to say goodbye to her husband due to a heart attack in 2021, even before the house was completed. "It was so hard to let go of my husband. After he left, the world felt so empty. I wanted to let go of my (life) too," she shares her feelings from that difficult time. During this, her mother, who was in her hometown of Gyeongju, came to take care of her with great effort due to her daughter's worries, and she tearfully acknowledges that she was able to overcome it thanks to her mother.
Next, Han Hye-jin and her close friends share their painful experiences while reminiscing about their days of anonymity. Han Hye-jin confesses, "There was a time when a drunken man stuck money in my dress at a stand bar, and I even sang on top of a cola box," to which Jin-seong adds, "I received bills (instead of money)" and says, "I didn't even have stage outfits, so I would borrow clothes from the dry cleaners that hadn't been picked up," adding to the sentiment.
Additionally, the story behind singer Han Hye-jin's hit song 'Brown Memory' will be revealed. After debuting as a KBS 11th public talent in 1985 and transitioning to a singer, Han Hye-jin sold her father's rice paddy and farmland to release three albums, all of which failed. She revealed that she sold her last remaining asset, an orchard, to produce the song 'Brown Memory.' That song eventually succeeded, leading her to become the Han Hye-jin she is today, acknowledging the sacrifices of her family behind her success.
Meanwhile, Jin-seong confesses his longing for his mother, who passed away last January. He says, "I couldn't be by my mother's side at her last moments. My feelings toward her leaned more toward resentment than love. I wanted to talk about my feelings at least once, but she didn't wait and left," expressing his late regrets. He adds that he plans to release a composition dedicated to his mother.
