Baby Monster is set to elevate the excitement of their debut world tour by unveiling a new Blackpink cover stage.
On the 12th, YG Entertainment announced that Baby Monster will kick off their '2025 BABYMONSTER 1st WORLD TOUR
They have decided to completely replace the previously performed 2NE1's 'Clap Your Hands' and 'Go Away' with Blackpink's hit songs. According to YG, the new stages were specially prepared to offer fans who are joining the tour something fresh, following the rapid spread of online 2NE1 cover stages that created a significant reaction.
Especially since this is the first time Baby Monster will showcase Blackpink's songs on a live stage, anticipation among fans is expected to soar. They have already been experiencing a surge in popularity due to their outstanding vocal and performance skills, successfully continuing the YG girl group legacy as they take over the baton from 2NE1 and Blackpink.
Ahead of their special stage that will be a highlight of the Asia tour, Baby Monster said, "It's our first time performing in front of fans with the music of our role models, Blackpink seniors, so we are very excited and nervous" and added, "We will repay with a performance that we put our utmost effort into, so we'd appreciate your kind support."
Meanwhile, Baby Monster is expanding their influence globally as they embark on their first world tour just one year after their debut. They have taken over arena-scale venues in Newark and Los Angeles, which can accommodate more than 10,000 people, during their first North American tour, and in Japan they have gradually expanded their scale, gathering a total of 150,000 fans and setting the record for 'K-pop girl group with the most audience in the shortest period.'
Having reached a turning point, they will continue their world tour in Asia, moving on to Singapore, Hong Kong, Ho Chi Minh City, Bangkok, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, and Taipei. Additionally, in the second half of this year, they will hold their second North American tour, transitioning to Toronto, Rosemont, Atlanta, Fort Worth, Oakland, and Seattle.
