Four years ago, Hollywood actress Amber Heard (39), who revealed her first child, recently announced that she has become a mother of three with the arrival of twins.
On the 11th (local time), according to U.S. entertainment media Page Six and People, Heard posted a photo of the legs and feet of her two newborns on her social media. In the post, Heard wrote, "Today, I officially share the news that I welcomed twins."
Heard noted, "My daughter Agnes and son Osha are filling my hands and heart," and added, "This year, I celebrate the completion of the family I have strived to create for years and I am happier than I can express in words."
She continued, "When I first held my eldest daughter Una four years ago, my world changed completely. At that moment, I thought I couldn't feel joy any longer. Yet, now, it feels like that joy has tripled."
Heard also left a message hinting at having become a mother while unmarried. She said, "Becoming a mother in my own way and on my own terms despite the difficulties of infertility has been the most humbling experience of my life. I am forever grateful for being able to make this choice thoughtfully and responsibly. At this moment, I celebrate with all the mothers, in any form, along with my dream-like family."
Amber Heard welcomed her first daughter through a surrogate in 2021. At that time, she said, "I want to give birth to my child in my own way," and acknowledged how radical it is to achieve such a fundamental aspect of being a woman through surrogacy.
When the news of her second pregnancy was reported last December, Amber Heard's representatives said, "Since we are in the early stages of pregnancy, we would like to keep details to a minimum at this stage," and remained silent on the surrogacy allegations. It has also been reported that Heard has not publicly mentioned the father of her child.
Amber Heard met Johnny Depp while making the film "The Rum Diary (2011)" and married him in 2015, but the couple divorced two years later in 2017.
