On KBS2's 'Study and Play,' elementary school students William and Bentley capture attention with their impressive height and comedic talent that outshines their father, Sam Hammington.
Today (12th), on KBS2's variety show 'Study and Play,' the generational integration 3MCs Kang Ho-dong, Kim Ho-young, and Lee Soo-yeon will be joined by former Major League Baseball player Kim Byung-hyun and the brothers Kim Tae-yoon and Kim Joo-sung, actor Kim Jung-tae and his son Kim Si-hyeon, actor Shin Hyun-joon and the brothers Shin Min-jun and Shin Yeo-jun, Yang Eun-ji and her daughter Ji-eum, and this week, announcer Lee Ji-ae with siblings Seo Ah and Do-yoon, announcer Lee Ha-jung with siblings Si-wook and Yu-dam, and Sam Hammington with William and Bentley will participate for the first time, testing the parents' impressive elementary skills.
Among them, Sam Hammington's two children, William and Bentley, show a remarkable growth as elementary school students, capturing attention. The brothers, known as 'WilBengers,' gained national interest for revealing their lives from birth during KBS's 'The Return of Superman,' and they attract attention with their impressive height and sturdy appearances.
In between Kim Byung-hyun and Shin Hyun-joon, Sam Hammington laments, 'I'm worried from the start. This seat is impossible to cheat,' causing laughter. Meanwhile, when a childhood photo of baby Bentley in a diaper is shown, Bentley, who is now a second grader, shyly says, 'What will I do if this gets shown?' provoking smiles from the parents.
Additionally, William advises his dad, Sam Hammington, saying, 'You need to lose weight,' while Bentley remarks, 'Stop drinking beer and drink coffee. Your belly is getting big from the beer,' continuing the straightforward criticism and showcasing the ongoing power of the WilBengers.
Moreover, when William introduces his Korean name as 'Jeong Tae-oh' and Bentley introduces his Korean name as 'Jeong Woo-sung,' Kim Byung-hyun, who has been quietly listening, asks, 'Isn't it Sam Tae-oh?' To this, Sam Hammington responds, 'My last name is Hammington, and my first name is Sam,' questioning, 'You've lived in America for 9 years and still don't know that?' which raises doubts about Kim Byung-hyun's past as a major league baseball player with a cumulative salary of 23.7 billion won.
The anticipation grows for the broadcast of 'Study and Play,' which will feature the WilBengers' activities as elementary students returning with comedic talent that surpasses their father.
Meanwhile, KBS2's 'Study and Play,' a quiz show where parents return to their roots alongside their elementary school children, airs every Monday at 9:50 p.m. on KBS 2TV.
