Former baseball player Kim Byung-hyun faced difficulties due to his son's shocking revelation.
On the 12th, KBS2's "Study and Play" featured a new segment titled "Look into My Eyes and Talk."
On that day, Kim Ho-young explained, "In the 1st grade integrated subject 'Promise,' students learn how to properly express their thoughts on the theme 'I have something to say.' So we prepared 'Look into My Eyes and Talk.'" Kang Ho-dong asked the children, "Do you have a lot to say to your parents?" and the kids responded enthusiastically. He urged them, "Parents shouldn't feel bad no matter what they hear."
Afterwards, the segment was conducted, and Kim Byung-hyun's son Kim Tae-yoon shocked everyone by saying, "I know dad says he washes every day, but he still smells a bit on his face."
Kim Byung-hyun was startled and responded, "How can you smell on your face?" Tae-yoon emphasized, "You always tell me to wash thoroughly, but dad just sits there with his phone, singing while washing, and only talks about washing. I wish he would wash properly so he doesn't smell anymore."
Hearing this, Kang Ho-dong asked, "What kind of smell comes from your face?" Tae-yoon replied, "There's something smelly coming from my face." Shin Hyun-joon questioned, "Is it really coming from you then?" Kim Byung-hyun clarified, "No. The smell from dad isn't stinky. I wash in the morning and evening." However, Tae-yoon countered, "You washed in the morning the day before yesterday and you're washing tonight!" causing laughter.
Shin Hyun-joon remarked, "Wash a little!" and Kang Ho-dong was surprised, stating, "Usually, the face doesn't smell like that." Tae-yoon said, "There's a strange smell every time we kiss," and Shin Hyun-joon joked, "We were supposed to meet at a restaurant, but let's meet at the bathhouse. I'll change the location so you can wash up a bit."
In response, Kang Ho-dong stated, "Even if dad smells a bit, he cooks ramen well and buys good meat," and Kim Byung-hyun added, "He buys a lot of games. He even makes in-app purchases secretly without mom knowing."
Then Tae-yoon exclaimed, "Why are you saying that!" and Kim Byung-hyun was met with jeers from the panel. Kang Ho-dong encouraged, "Say a word to your mom," and Tae-yoon recorded a video message saying, "I'm sorry..." directed at the screen.
Especially afterwards, Kim Byung-hyun's second son, Joo-seong, appeared and reiterated, "It's good that you work and come home late, but please wash up a bit before coming home," causing chaos on set.
