Broadcaster Jun Hyun-moo supported announcer Hong Joo-yeon ahead of her appearance on 'Immortal Songs.'

On that day, Hong Joo-yeon revealed that she was invited to 'Immortal Songs.' Um Ji-in expressed surprise, stating, 'You are singing? Did I hear wrong?' and 'Don't you know you can't sing?' Park Myung-soo, who overheard this, pushed back, saying, 'Why are you not stopping your sister-in-law? Did you have a fight?' and Jun Hyun-moo commented, 'This will make it into the news.'
The episode featuring Hong Joo-yeon was a special on 'Variety Stock Surge.' Um Ji-in raised questions, saying, 'Honestly, it makes sense that the variety stock surge is because of senior Hyun-moo, but you shouldn't be singing. Haven't you heard Joo-yeon sing?' Jun Hyun-moo argued, 'If she shows her singing skills as they are, the ratings could surge even more. It's a complete variety stock surge.'
Um Ji-in confidently stated, 'It's not Hong Joo-yeon, it's me, right? The variety surge is me,' and asked about the lineup. Hong Joo-yeon responded, 'Senior Kim Dae-ho will appear.' Um Ji-in, furious about the competition between MBC and KBS, exclaimed, 'This is a battle concerning our KBS announcer pride. Can Joo-yeon really go out there?' Jun Hyun-moo, who is a close friend of Kim Dae-ho, reassured, 'Don't worry; Kim Dae-ho can't sing at all. He is incredibly bad. It's shocking,' to which Kim Suk asked, 'Who will you support, Hong Joo-yeon or Kim Dae-ho?'
Park Myung-soo declared, 'It would obviously be your wife,' and Kim Suk repeated, 'Is it your close friend or your wife?' In response, Jun Hyun-moo naturally called Hong Joo-yeon 'wife' and stated, 'Of course, I have to support KBS.' Um Ji-in then asked, 'Well, if I went out there, it would be me against Kim Dae-ho,' and without hesitation, Jun Hyun-moo replied, 'It would be Kim Dae-ho,' causing laughter.
Um Ji-in emphasized, 'Even if Kim Dae-ho goes out there, we have to win with our pride on the line. You going out there is serious. You must win. We must win for all of KBS's honor,' and added, 'We should carefully consider the song selection. The performance is important. It must be a dazzling performance.'
In response, Kim Suk expressed concern, asking, 'Isn't she not good at dancing? What does Joo-yeon excel at?' Jun Hyun-moo candidly shared his thoughts, stating, 'The performance might be more favorable than the singing.' Later, Um Ji-in instructed, 'You have to follow the performance format I set for you without exception,' and even visited the dance practice room, drawing jeers from the others.
'I couldn't sleep again today. I can't fall asleep because of you. Can you really go out like that? I thought about it and realized I can't do it alone, so I specially brought a duet for you. Don't look far away, I'll help you,' he said, while Jun Hyun-moo criticized, 'Joo-yeon is trying to ride on the casting.' Um Ji-in defended, 'I am seriously sacrificing myself to ensure Joo-yeon wins,' and Kim Suk quipped, 'If you wanted to win, it should have been Hyun-moo going out,' to which Jun Hyun-moo agreed, saying, 'You should have asked for me to sing 'Our Love Remains,' or something like that.' Um Ji-in even suggested, 'You should go on a couple special.'
The song selection was decided to be Son Dam-bi's 'Crazy,' based on Um Ji-in's opinion. However, Hong Joo-yeon struggled to execute the chair dance due to her stiff body, so the chair dance was assigned to Um Ji-in. Seeing this, Jun Hyun-moo expressed suspicion, saying, 'Did you choose this song to steal that dance?' Um Ji-in replied, 'But if Joo-yeon is to sing, she needs to skip what she can't do,' to which Jun Hyun-moo retorted, 'How can we take that out of the song?' defending Hong Joo-yeon.
Despite continuing the dance practice, the choreographer teaching the two stiff individuals remarked, 'You are too stiff. You should only go for the song without the choreography. I have been informing the production team that it would be better to go without the choreography and just sing, but as you keep doing it this way, there is nothing more I can do,' also highlighting Um Ji-in's dancing skills alongside Hong Joo-yeon.
Meanwhile, on this day, Um Ji-in brought his juniors to an aerobics class taught by the instructor 'Halmae,' Yeom Jeong-in. He explained, 'I brought her in to teach properly. Her body is even stiffer than I thought. Aerobics was really in vogue. Today, let's properly learn with Joo-yeon and the juniors; I've set up this precious opportunity.' Due to her stiff body, Hong Joo-yeon received a 'no hope' diagnosis, saying, 'She can't do it at all, even if her bones break,' but during the individual tests, she received praise such as, 'You highlight the points well. Your expressions are good.'
