Comedian Shin Yoon-seung and Jo Soo-yeon's marriage rumors have resurfaced.
On the 12th, KBS1's 'Morning Garden' segment 'The Best Show' featured Lee Yong-sik, who appeared with Jo Soo-yeon to showcase the stage for 'Let's Go on a Trip' along with a variety of witty remarks.
On this day's 'The Best Show,' themed 'A Painful Finger for Me,' Lee Yong-sik opened the conversation about his appearance with Jo Soo-yeon, saying, 'My daughter Lee Soo-min has a similar name, and we were born in 1991 and are of the same age.'
Lee Yong-sik said, 'I even thought we looked alike, and at one point while looking at Jo Soo-yeon, I wondered if we had twins.' Notably, Lee Yong-sik's daughter, Lee Soo-min, is known to be jealous of the relationship between her father and Jo Soo-yeon. Jo Soo-yeon said, 'When I saw my senior today, I thought, "I thought I had given birth to a baby."'
Lee Yong-sik's appearance with Jo Soo-yeon was not solely due to their looks. Lee Yong-sik praised Jo Soo-yeon's character and diligence, while Jo Soo-yeon noted, 'Normally, since it's seniority, it could be difficult, but he treats me like his daughter,' adding, 'When I was in Daehangno, older comedians would say, "Lee Yong-sik is warm." During gatherings, he would say, "Eat lots of meat. If there's not enough, I'll get on the grill myself."'
Lee Yong-sik revealed that Jo Soo-yeon also attended his 70th birthday celebration. He said, 'Since she came with the person who will become her husband, I thought I would hold hands and enter with Jo Soo-yeon, even though I feel sorry for her biological father.'
The person who will become her husband is none other than Shin Yoon-seung. Jo Soo-yeon said, 'On that day, Shin Yoon-seung also wrote on the envelope, "Daughter Jo Soo-yeon, son-in-law Shin Yoon-seung," and I believe we are getting married, but he keeps saying he is filing a lawsuit,' she laughed.
Jo Soo-yeon and Shin Yoon-seung are matching in their performances in the popular segment 'What About Defconn?' in 'Gag Concert.' Their unique chemistry has sparked dating and marriage rumors. Recently, in a video celebrating the 1,100th episode, when asked if the marriage rumor in May was true, Shin Yoon-seung said, 'They ask if I feel emotions when working with Jo Soo-yeon, and I do feel a lot. It's emotions like anger and resentment,' generating laughter.
In contrast, Jo Soo-yeon said, 'I am thinking of getting married in May next year. I am currently in a good relationship with Shin Yoon-seung, so I ask for everyone's interest and love,' she revealed. To this, Shin Yoon-seung claimed, 'Am I getting married alone?' asserting that the marriage rumor for May next year is solely Jo Soo-yeon's unilateral thought.
