The four siblings of tvN 'Fresh off the Sea 2' are put to work in an unprecedented labor effort.
In the fifth episode of the tvN entertainment program 'Fresh off the Sea 2' (directed by Kim Se-hee), airing today (Nov. 11) at 7:40 p.m., the story of Yum Jung-ah, Park Joon Myun, Lim Ji-yeon, and Lee Jae-wook heading to Wando-gun, Jeollanam-do, the second production site and a treasure trove of seafood, unfolds.
After a six-hour journey by car, the four siblings arrive in Wando, receiving news that they need to take a boat for another hour to begin operations, creating a tense atmosphere before the storm. The destination after a long seven-hour journey is Soando in Wando-gun. The siblings are left speechless by the spectacle of many ships filling the port, along with large cranes and numerous trucks.
The identity of this place, reminiscent of a construction site, is a seaweed harvesting site. The siblings, momentarily amazed by the black raw seaweed covering the boat, are immediately put to work unloading it, beginning an endless extreme labor. They are tasked with completing the unloading of 28 tons of seaweed, marking it as a truly high-difficulty real labor site that is expected to captivate viewers.
In particular, the enormous weight of the seaweed, saturated with seawater, is said to astonish even the seasoned sisters. Yum Jung-ah, who has shown her skills as a professional worker in various labor settings, is anticipated to face a historic challenge, raising curiosity. Quotes such as, "This is no ordinary job. It's unprecedented," and, "It's beyond anything you can imagine" are expected to emerge from this extreme setting, enhancing expectations for how the siblings will struggle.
A seasonal dish filled with the pristine Wando is also a much-anticipated highlight. Today's broadcast will feature a "Fresh off the Sea seasonal garden party," likely stimulating viewers' appetites. Dishes utilizing seaweed and abalone, as well as grilled pork belly by Yum Jung-ah and Lee Jae-wook, which is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, are sure to be captivating.
