Three months have passed since Seo Hee-won left this world. The family remains in deep sorrow.
The Taiwanese media ET Today recently reported on the family's circumstances through an interview with singer and actress Bai Bingbing. According to the report, her husband, Koo Jun-yeob, visits Seo Hee-won's grave at Jinbao Mountain in Taiwan every day, and her mother-in-law could not hide her sadness upon seeing this.
Seo Hee-je also recently left a post on her social media reminiscing about her sister. She said, "My sister was always on my side. She pretended to be strong but was a gentle and warm person," and added, "I still want to be in her arms. Mother misses her a lot. I think my sister would have said something if I didn't take care of her well."
Koo Jun-yeob has suspended all activities following the sudden death of his wife, Seo Hee-won. He has recently lost nearly 7 kg and is staying in Taiwan with close acquaintances to begin work on a statue honoring Seo Hee-won. He has also expressed that he does not intend to return to South Korea until the statue is completed.
Those left behind are quietly mourning the deceased in their own ways.
Meanwhile, Seo Hee-won passed away from pneumonia caused by influenza during a trip to Japan in February. The bereaved family completed part of the funeral locally, returned to Taiwan, and interred her at Jinbao Mountain. She was 48 years old.
