Moon Se-yoon has developed a new menu inspired by a famous sandwich brand's menu, receiving high praise.
The May 9 broadcast of Comedy TV's 'THE Delicious Guys' introduced grilled eel and spicy crab soup as part of a special segment for parents in honor of the May Family Month.
While tasting salt-grilled eel at the first restaurant, Moon Se-yoon introduced an eel sandwich as a taste tip. Moon Se-yoon revealed, "I fondly remember enjoying mackerel kebab in Turkey. Since the mackerel kebab tastes this good, I thought eel would be even better, leading to the birth of 'Eel Way,'" while referencing a famous sandwich brand.
In response, the production team prepared the same bread and toppings as the famous sandwich brand, and Moon Se-yoon challenged himself to create an Eel Way to his taste.
Moon Se-yoon cut the 30 cm bread in half, filled it with his choice of vegetables such as lettuce, olives, jalapeños, and cucumbers, piled on a generous amount of eel, and topped it with sauce, perfectly executing the recipe.
Members who tasted it directly were amazed by the impressive visual and touched by the flavor, offering lavish praise.
In response, Moon Se-yoon expressed a sincere desire to launch the product and showed strong intent for commercialization, while Kim Hae-jun, enjoying the delightful combination of eel and sandwich, was seen eating hurriedly, sparking viewers' curiosity.
Meanwhile, Kim Jun-hyun confessed, "I have never been to a famous sandwich brand's store. Someone always bought it for me. I'm afraid to order." Moon Se-yoon also admitted, "Honestly, I have been there once. I only saw how to order in advertisements," causing laughter.
