The group NCT WISH has been unable to attend the SMTOWN LA concert due to visa issues.
On the morning of the 10th, SM Entertainment said, "NCT WISH will not be able to join the 'SMTOWN LIVE 2025 in L.A.' stage due to visa issues."
The agency stated, "To participate in this stage with our fans, we diligently completed all necessary procedures, such as document submissions and interviews for visa approval; however, due to unexpected approval delays, we were unable to obtain the visa."
It further explained, "At present, it is difficult to identify the specific reasons or causes for the approval delay, and we have made every effort to resolve the issue; however, ultimately we were unable to obtain the visa and therefore cannot take the stage."
The agency added, "Considering the hearts of fans who were looking forward to NCT WISH's performance, we feel deeply saddened and heavy-hearted. We did everything we could until the last moment to get visa approval, but we sincerely apologize for ultimately being unable to keep our promise."
Additionally, it expressed, "Above all, we deeply apologize for disappointing fans who took precious time to wait for the performance," and added, "We will strive to repay you with even better appearances so that your support and expectations do not go in vain."
NCT WISH is a six-member multinational boy group that debuted in February last year. The group consists of Korean members Sion and Jaehee, and Japanese members Riku, Yushi, Ryo, and Sakuya.
Meanwhile, the 'SMTOWN LIVE 2025 in L.A.' concert, held to commemorate the 30th anniversary of SM, will take place on May 11 (local time) at Dignity Health Sports Park in Los Angeles, USA. This concert will feature SM's representative artists, including Dongbang, Super Junior, SHINee (Key, Minho), EXO (Suho, Chanyeol, Kai), Red Velvet (Irene, Seulgi, Joy), NCT 127, NCT DREAM, WayV, aespa, HAATZ, Hearts2Hearts, and SMTR25, generating high expectations.

At present, it is challenging to ascertain the precise reasons or causes of the approval delay, and we have made every effort to resolve the issue, but ultimately we were unable to procure the visa and thus could not take the stage.
Thinking of the hearts of fans who were waiting for NCT WISH's performance, we feel deeply saddened and heavy-hearted. We did our utmost until the last moment to obtain visa approval, but ultimately we are sincerely sorry for not being able to keep our promise.
We deeply apologize for disappointing fans who have taken precious time to wait for the performance.
