Actress Ko So-young revealed her 400 pyeong Gapyeong villa and mentioned an incident involving a burglar.
Recently, Ko So-young unveiled her three-story Gapyeong villa through her YouTube channel 'That Ko So-young.' The Gapyeong house introduced by Ko So-young has also won the World Architecture Award in the past.
On this day, while mentioning the Gapyeong house, Ko So-young explained, 'This house is big and so empty that I brought some furniture I don't use much.' The production team noted, 'There is kimchi stain here,' referring to the kimchi stain on the sofa, which embarrassed Ko So-young. Ko So-young jokingly responded, 'I have to wash it. I have a luxurious image, so why is this happening?'
Ko So-young moved to the third floor and stood in front of the main door. Looking at the purple-painted main door, she said, 'There was a really funny incident. I was in the postpartum care center after giving birth to Yoon Seol-yi, and a burglar broke in here,' adding, 'At that time, all the important things were in the master bedroom, but the burglar thought this main door was a wall.'
'There were footprints left, so we could see the whole path, but they were flustered and went down with one of my dad's vintage cameras. The case had fallen here in front of me,' she recalled. Fortunately, there was no significant financial damage, and afterward, the couple removed all valuables.
The burglary incident at the Gapyeong villa of Jang Dong-gun and Ko So-young is well known. According to reports at that time, in March 2014, someone broke in by smashing a window at their villa, and the burglar is said to have stolen three cameras from the living room display case on the first floor.
In this regard, a representative from Jang Dong-gun's agency noted, 'I heard that the security company reported it to the police and contacted Mr. Jang Dong-gun as well. After receiving the contact, Mr. Jang Dong-gun and his manager went to the Gapyeong villa.' He added, 'We will need to investigate further for more details, but so far, I've heard that there aren't significant damages.'
At that time, Jang Dong-gun and Ko So-young were not residing at the Gapyeong villa. The couple was living in Samsung-dong, Seoul, and it is reported that Ko So-young's parents were staying at the villa.
Meanwhile, Ko So-young married her fellow actor Jang Dong-gun in 2010 and has one son and one daughter.
