Ann Joo-hee has stepped down from 'Morning Opening the World,' and Lee Young-eun has been appointed as her successor.
The DJ of MBC FM4U 'Morning Opening the World' will change. Ann Joo-hee, who has led the program for over three years, will step down, and Lee Young-eun will take over the hosting duties starting Monday, May 12.
Lee Young-eun has received love from viewers by showcasing her stable hosting in various news and cultural programs since joining MBC in 2021. She is also active in shows like 'Life-saving First Period' and 'Live Happy Dream Lotto 6/45', and is recognized for her clear delivery and warm image.
The production team noted, "Lee Young-eun's bright and trustworthy image fits well with the morning program," and added, "Since she has been a familiar voice through her regular grants, we expect her to carry on the existing image of 'Morning Opening the World' well."
Lee Young-eun stated, "It is an honor to start the day with the listeners of 'Morning Opening the World.' I will do my best with courage."
Meanwhile, 'Morning Opening the World' has been the representative morning program of MBC Radio, consistently loved since its first broadcast in 2003 for 22 years, and with this DJ change, it aims to create a more friendly atmosphere for listeners.
