Singer and actress Yujin's husband, actor Ki Taeyoung, resonated with his modest spending.
On the 10th, the couple Yujin and Ki Taeyoung posted a video titled 'The maximalist family of Rohui and Lori preparing for Guam' on their YouTube channel 'YujinVSTaeyoung'. The video features Yujin and Ki Taeyoung packing their bags for a trip to Guam, which feels like Yujin's second hometown, along with their two daughters, Rohui and Lori.
Yujin said, "We go to Guam regularly. This time it's been a long time. It's been 2 years, but since I lived there, Guam really feels like my second hometown," revealing her familiarity. She continued, noting her confidence in packing for trips due to her frequent overseas schedules, including during her past activities with S.E.S.
However, Ki Taeyoung was different. He said, "When we were on our honeymoon, I only packed about half of my suitcase. But my wife changed outfits every day and packed all matching shoes."
Yujin emphasized, "It's a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Europe for a honeymoon; should I wear the same clothes every day? Of course, I coordinated my outfits." She added, "Later, when looking at the photos, my husband regretted saying 'I can't show this.'"
Even for the trip to Guam, Ki Taeyoung's packing was modest. He packed items made of materials that could be easily crumpled. He laughed, saying, "I'm the one making sacrifices. It might seem like I'm just packing carelessly, but it's all calculated."
While packing family swimwear, Yujin was surprised by her husband's swimwear, saying, "I've never seen anything like that. It was so white that it turned yellow; anyone could see it was swimwear that should be thrown away." To this, Ki Taeyoung revealed, "I've worn it for over 10 years," and added, "I didn't buy any until I found one I liked. I got it during the last trip to Hawaii as a buy one get one free deal."
Yujin and Ki Taeyoung married in 2011. The couple has two daughters, Rohui and Lori, and they have captured attention by sharing their daily lives on various entertainment programs.
Notably, it was revealed that the school their daughters attend is an international school located in Songdo, Incheon, which sparked interest. This school is known to have the highest tuition fees in the country, with approximately 600 million won per student from kindergarten through high school.
