In "Jun Hyun-moo's Plan 2," Lee Hyun shared her love story from her first meeting with her husband to their period of boredom.
On the broadcast of MBN and Channel S's real street food documentary "Jun Hyun-moo's Plan 2" aired on the 9th, model entertainer Lee Hyun appeared as a food friend of Jun Hyun-moo and Kwak Tube (Kwak Jun-bin) while revealing anecdotes about her husband.
On that day, the three tasted the famous Incheon chicken shops and then moved to the next location. In the car moving to the next place, Jun Hyun-moo asked how many years they had been married, and Lee Hyun replied, "I got married at 29, so I've been married for 13 years."
Then, Kwak Tube expressed surprise at her youthful appearance, saying, "Are you over 40? You don't look like it." Jun Hyun-moo asked, "How did your first meeting with your husband go?" Lee Hyun confessed, "We had a meeting. There were four models I was close with and four office workers, a 4:4 meeting. So, after some selection process among themselves, four of us came to meet."
She continued, "At some point, we each made choices based on first impressions. When asked, 'Who do you like?' there was a friend who modeled apartments at that time. Her name is Yang Yoon-young. She is really pretty. Three of them chose that friend, but my husband said, 'I think Lee Hyun is okay.' They said, 'You're really unique.' Then, he asked me for my number. After two days, we went to watch a movie together, and as we continued meeting, we started dating."
Thus, after a year of dating, Lee Hyun got married. However, after having their second child, they entered a period of boredom.
Regarding this, she noted, "It was severe after giving birth to the second child," saying that it was to the point where she couldn't stand seeing him even if he was doing nothing, and continued, "The thing is, we're freelancers, so our work hours aren't fixed, but my husband leaves for work at 7:30 a.m. every day. When I wake up, my husband has already left, so that empty space in the bed where his pillow was, you know? I woke up and slammed the pillow in frustration."
Jun Hyun-moo expressed surprise, asking, "Why would you do that to someone who had a hard time going to work?" Lee Hyun replied, "I was just angry. Just seeing the empty space made me angry. There's a saying that it's annoying just to breathe. I had such a phase where I got really upset even over his empty spot."
Then, Jun Hyun-moo asked, "Isn't this menopause?" and Lee Hyun responded, "I get angry for no reason. I think giving birth changes something in women," adding, "Because after we got married, my husband still talks about how he worried. He said, 'I worry that since you love me too much, what if you don't see the baby and only look at me?'"
In response, Jun Hyun-moo made everyone laugh by saying, "But sitting there hitting your pillow..."
