Actor Kim Bo-ra and director Jo Ba-run experienced a split just 11 months after their marriage.
On the 10th, Kim Bo-ra's agency, Noon Company, stated, "We are officially sharing our stance regarding Kim Bo-ra's divorce. First, we sincerely apologize for having to convey this news to the many who have offered warm support."
It continued, "Kim Bo-ra proceeded with the divorce process amicably through mutual agreement after sufficient discussions following careful consideration, and recently completed all procedures."
It also added, "We earnestly request that you refrain from unfounded speculation, sensational reporting, and the spreading of false information related to this matter."
Kim Bo-ra and director Jo Ba-run met as actor and director in the 2021 film "Gwaegi Mansion" and developed a romantic relationship, eventually getting married in June of the previous year after three years of dating.
However, the two decided to go their separate ways less than a year after their wedding. According to reports, the reason for the divorce is said to be personality differences.
Meanwhile, director Jo Ba-run has directed short films such as "Vibration" (2016), action films "Gang" (2020), and "Blow, Wind" (2021). Kim Bo-ra, who debuted as a child actor in 2005, gained recognition and received love from viewers through the drama "SKY Castle" (2018).
