Actress Yoon Mi-ra shared her candid thoughts on the plastic surgeries and procedures of younger actors.
On the 7th, a video titled "81-year-old Sunwoo Yong-nyeo (+ actress Yoon Mi-ra) cooking kimchi stew in the stove and lying down" was uploaded on the YouTube channel "Sunpung Sunwoo Yong-nyeo." The video shows actress Sunwoo Yong-nyeo and Yoon Mi-ra traveling together to Yangpyeong.
While chatting in the car, Yoon Mi-ra said, "It's the era of self-PR, so I have to talk about it. What I can boast about is that I haven't touched my face. I haven't even had Botox once," adding, "Both this sister (Sunwoo Yong-nyeo) and I are just living as we are."
When the production team asked, "Don't you do RAY?" Yoon Mi-ra quickly replied, "Not at all," and Sunwoo Yong-nyeo added with a laugh, "I don't even know what RAY is." Yoon Mi-ra then said, "I hardly go to the dermatologist. I only go occasionally when I have a pimple," and Sunwoo Yong-nyeo jokingly said, "I squeeze it myself. In two days, I can just poke it with a needle and squeeze it."
Yoon Mi-ra further noted, "That's something to boast about. I tell my juniors the same. They get plastic surgery and ruin their pretty faces. That's unfortunate," adding, "Muscles need to move. Only the eyeballs move around. Can you act like that? The wrinkles that come with experience are beautiful."
Regarding her skin care secrets, she said, "I just wash my face and put on whatever I have, and I try all brands." Sunwoo Yong-nyeo nodded in agreement, saying, "I just put on good things." When the production team mentioned that many had contacted about what RAY she uses, Yoon Mi-ra emphasized, "There isn't that. I guarantee it."
Sunwoo Yong-nyeo advised, "With that money, it's better to use expensive cosmetics, eat good food, and keep a relaxed mind," to which Yoon Mi-ra humorously added, "When the phone rings, tell them to do that."
