The medical staff informed Gibo-bae, who showed no signs of labor, "Since the baby is at the end, there is almost no labor pain. We will use an inducing agent." Afterwards, the medical staff noted that they intentionally broke the amniotic fluid due to weak contractions and began preparations for delivery. The medical staff said, "The baby was looking at the sky. If the baby lies on the side, it will turn. Please tell us if you (the caregiver) feel heavy while being beside us."
Dr. Kim Ji-yeon, who was watching the video, explained, "The fetus is facing sideways; when it is born, it looks down at the ground. It must be born while lifting its head. If it is looking at the sky, it may collide with the mother's pelvic bone, potentially injuring the baby's jawbone." She added, "Depending on the situation, we try to turn the baby, but it's slippery and not easy to turn. It's a difficult situation."
Gibo-bae called for medical staff as she felt contractions, but they replied, "If you push now, the baby's head will swell. It's not time yet. If you push now, the baby will be injured. The baby is also turning around, so it is struggling. It needs to turn further."
Gibo-bae was breathing heavily and struggling, immediately starting preparations for delivery. However, the medical staff stated, "The baby has turned more," and Kim Ji-yeon explained, "It's not that you can't give birth, but it is becoming difficult to give birth. There may be a need for an emergency cesarean section."
The medical staff said, "The baby's head is stuck and uncomfortable," and after a long wait, Gibo-bae gave birth to the baby. Gibo-bae held the baby and said, "I wanted to see you." She added, "It feels refreshing now that the placenta is out. I don't feel any pain now that the baby is here."
