The Daewon Cultural Welfare Foundation noted that on May 8, in celebration of Parents' Day, it invited over 250 seniors from Seongbuk-gu to hold the 'Let's Enjoy Together, Daewon Cultural Parents' Festival.'
In this event, street poet and rapper Noh Hyun-tae, singer Gil Gun, trot singers Kim Kyung-min, Ahn Yul, Han Tae-hyun, and actors Seo Ji-seok and Kim Young-woo grants a colorful and joyful stage to express gratitude to the seniors.
One senior who attended the event said, "I enjoyed the 'health clap' recreation and various performances, laughing and moving around cheerfully after a long time. I hope there will be such occasions in the future as well."
Noh Hyun-tae, who was in charge of the overall proceedings and recreation on that day, reflected, "Seeing the seniors enjoying themselves at the event energizes me and makes me feel more motivated to work harder on social contribution activities."
Seo Ji-seok, Kim Kyung-min, Gil Gun, Ahn Yul, Han Tae-hyun, and Kim Young-woo said, "It was a rewarding time to be able to convey meaningful memories and joy to the seniors in this event, which we carefully prepared to celebrate Parents' Day. We also extend our gratitude to the staff of the foundation who helped prepare it together."
Meanwhile, the Daewon Cultural Welfare Foundation, led by Honorary Chairperson Jeong Bo-seok, is carrying out welfare projects and cultural sharing activities targeting various demographics, including multicultural families, out-of-school youth, and seniors, thereby contributing to the welfare development of the local community.
Kim Kyung-min and Noh Hyun-tae released their new song 'Health Clap' on April 10, and afterward, they continued their sharing activities by conducting the 'Clap to Eat Meat and Donate' challenge in collaboration with the Korean Cattlemen's Association (Chairperson Jo Jae-seong), visiting solitary seniors nationwide.
