The reason why Keyna, a member of the group Fifty Fifty, suddenly halted activities has been revealed. The agency Attract stated that Keyna's health deteriorated sharply after a confrontation questioning with CEO Ahn Seong-il, making it unavoidable to stop her activities.
On the 9th, a representative from Attract told OSEN, "Keyna decided to halt her activities due to a sharp deterioration in her health after the confrontation questioning with Ahn Seong-il. She is currently focused on recovering her health."
Fifty Fifty released their third mini album "DAY & NIGHT" on the 29th of last month and began activities with the title track "PUKI," but Keyna, the oldest member of the group, officially announced a halt to her activities for health reasons on the 7th.
The background of Keyna's halt in activities is linked to the legal conflict with CEO Ahn Seong-il. Previously, Keyna filed a lawsuit against Ahn Seong-il in August of last year on charges of forging documents and using forged documents. Ahn is accused of forging Keyna's signature without her consent, allocating only 0.5% equity of the copyright for the hit song "Cupid."
As a result, a confrontation questioning was conducted at Keyna's request, but afterwards, Keyna reportedly experienced severe post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) symptoms, including vomiting, auditory hallucinations, insomnia, and anorexia. Nevertheless, Keyna led the team for the new album activities but eventually decided to halt her activities due to overwhelming physical and mental pain.
The agency Attract officially announced through the fan community, "Keyna is currently in a state where she desperately needs ample rest and treatment. After discussions with her, it was decided that she would not participate in the entire album activities," and asked fans to understand that this was a decision made with the artist's health and safety as the top priority.
They added, "We will spare no support for Keyna to recover her health as soon as possible and stand in front of fans in a healthy manner again," urging fans for warm encouragement and support.
