Shin Won-ho and Na Young-seok have joined the special cameo lineup of 'Resident Playbook'.
According to OSEN's report on the 8th, Na Young-seok and Shin Won-ho will appear in tvN's weekend drama 'Resident Playbook', which is set to air this week, and give dedicated performances.
'Resident Playbook' is a spin-off drama of 'Hospital Playlist' that captures the growth process of residents dreaming of a 'smart' medical life through their rookie challenges.
Since its premiere on the 12th of last month, 'Resident Playbook' has been airing successfully, ranking first in the TV-OTT drama buzz category for three consecutive weeks. The recent ratings for episode 8 showed an average of 6.4% for metropolitan households and a peak of 7.4%, while the nationwide average was 6% with a peak of 6.7%, setting new record highs for both metropolitan and national standards.
In particular, 'Resident Playbook' has drawn attention with powerful cameos appearing one after another. In the first episode, actress Ra Mi-ran made a special appearance as a bank employee, followed by main characters from the 'Hospital Playlist' series, including Ahn Eun-jin, Moon Tae-yu, Ha Yoon-kyung, Jung Kyung-ho, Yoo Yeon-seok, Bae Hyun-sung, Kwak Sun-young, Kim Joon-han, and Shin Hyun-bin, who shared behind-the-scenes stories from the previous work, earning an enthusiastic response from drama fans.

Shin Won-ho PD is known as the creator of 'Resident Playbook' and has a close relationship with the work, having directed the previous series 'Hospital Playlist.' Expectations are high for how he will perform as a cameo actor rather than a producer in 'Resident Playbook.'
The outstanding performance of Na Young-seok PD, known for his acting career, is also a noteworthy point. Having maintained a friendship with Shin Won-ho PD since they both joined KBS in 2001, Na Young-seok debuted as an actor in 2013, playing a boarding house student in 'Reply 1994', which is Shin Won-ho PD's representative work.
Since then, he has appeared in 'Potato Star 2013QR3', 'Surviving as a Celebrity Manager', and in 'Hospital Playlist Season 2' as Director Jang Young-seok, the father of Mone, Ik-jun's (played by Jo Jung-seok) girlfriend, showcasing his loyalty to Shin Won-ho PD.
