Kian84 announced that he would conclude 'The World Tour After Born' at the end of this season.
On the 8th, a production presentation for the new entertainment program 'The World Tour After Born 4' (hereafter 'The World Tour After Born 4') was held at the Gold Mouse Hall of MBC in Sangam, Mapo-gu, Seoul. The presentation was attended by Kian84, Pani Bottle, and Lee Si-eon, along with producer Kim Ji-woo, while fixed panelist Lee Seung-hoon served as the MC.
'The World Tour After Born 4' is a program in which Kian84, known as 'the man living after being born,' embarks on a grand journey to 'Chamakododo,' the highest and most rugged mountain path in the world, seeking out minority groups for whom 'Chamakododo' is a home. A mysterious journey continues where every step tells a story.
However, Kian84 noted through a pre-released video that this season is the last for 'The World Tour.' During the presentation, he explained, "To speak about why this season was difficult, it's because after visiting 'The World Tour,' I spend a fortnight in bed. Has it been a month this time? I just started to feel better. I was receiving IV fluids continuously, and I was in such bad shape."
He continued, "So personally, this feels like the hardest entertainment experience, and I mentioned to the producer that this is the last. When I was doing webtoons, I didn't feel like I achieved a satisfying conclusion, but this time I feel proud to have done so. I think it's nice to leave when the applause starts. It was emotional; it felt that way to me."
Producer Kim Ji-woo also stated, "The fact that it's the last time is something we mentioned even at Season 2. We said this was really the end during Season 3, but this time we left as if we wouldn't return, which made me feel a bit conflicted. We left with the feeling of a last dance," adding, "There is that feeling of finality, but there was also someone who suggested that when we went back and had our first gathering, 'We shouldn't do this and should keep leaving,' so we will discuss it thoroughly together."
Kian84 explained the reason he believes he achieved a satisfying conclusion this season: "As for the members and the production team, I think we utilized all the ideas we could possibly come up with. So, I think of this as a satisfying conclusion. There is a point where it would be fun to tell a story like this in a webtoon, but now I can't think of anything particular. We traveled exhaustively and explored, and if we were forcing it, I think the audience would know, and it seems we brought everything along, which I consider a satisfying conclusion."
Meanwhile, MBC's 'The World Tour After Born 4' will premiere on the 11th and will air every Sunday at 9:10 p.m.
