The released video begins with a scene where two Baekhyuns face each other from the last 'Essence' version. A colorful screen crosses with a melody reminiscent of retro games, changing the atmosphere. The rapid scene transitions that seem to take place in a dream, along with various props like clouds and balloons, enhance the dreamy atmosphere, completing a concept film befitting the version name 'Reverie.'
This 'Essence of Reverie' album tells the story of Baekhyun standing at the boundary between reality and ideal through two concepts. It symbolically reflects his will to redefine the musical identity he wants to continue, based on the essence of artist Baekhyun.
In particular, following the release of this mini album, starting in June, he will hold his first solo world tour after 13 years since his debut, drawing fans' expectations for Baekhyun's deepening musical journey.
